What is Sinus Disease

In today's irregular lifestyle, people are unable to take proper care of their health, due to which they have to face many problems. The disease begins as a common cold and then exacerbates with a bacterial, viral or fungal infection.

Sinus is a nasal disease. In this disease, the nasal bone also enlarges or becomes oblique, due to which there is difficulty in breathing. The person who suffers from this disease feels trouble in cold air, dust, smoke, etc.

The sinus is actually a cavity filled with air in the skull of the human body, which helps our head to bring lightness and breathing air. The air that comes in during breathing goes through this sac to the lungs. This bag prevents the dirt that comes with the air, ie dust and other dirt. When the passage of a person's sinus stops, the passage of mucus also stops, causing a disease called sinusitis. Sinus infection causes swelling in its membrane, due to which the air filled in the membrane gets filled with pus or mucus, etc. and the sinuses are closed. When this happens, the patient starts having problems.

The main reason for this is the inflammation of the membrane. This inflammation can occur due to the following reasons

  • Bacteria
  • Fungal infections
  • Dilation of the nasal bone.

You can easily identify this disease. Know these 9 major symptoms of sinus
